Attorney Position Available

I just learned of a New York City Real Estate Owner/Developer’s immediate need for a NYS-admitted attorney with 3-5 years of residential real estate experience, including solid knowledge of NYC real estate regulations, to:

– supervise court staff of four attorneys and court agents/liaisons in landlord/tenant Housing Court
– make frequent court appearances, including ECB & DOH hearings, in Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn
– oversee case preparation, organization of witnesses & documentation
– ensure preparation for ECB hearings and conference with tenants in arrears
– monitor and track status of legal cases
– negotiate settlements with tenants
– coordinate with outside counsel

Must have strong computer, communication, management, organization and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $75K plus Bonus
